These terms apply when you use this website, book or receive a service at Maéra Makeover Studio & Academy, or join a course at our academy. By booking, paying or enrolling you agree to them. Our privacy policy and refund policy form part of them.

The website describes our services and courses. It does not show prices; the studio gives the current price for a service or course at the desk, on a call or on WhatsApp.

Pictures show the kind of work we do; results differ from person to person. The words, photographs, films and the Maéra name and logo belong to us and may not be copied without our permission.

• A booking is confirmed when we confirm it to you, at the studio or by WhatsApp. Some services (for example bridal makeup) may need an advance to hold the date.
• Please arrive on time. If you are late we may have to shorten the service or move it, so the next client is not kept waiting.
• Tell us before the service about allergies, skin conditions, medication or recent treatments. A patch test may be needed for some products; we may decline a service if it is not safe for you.
• To change or cancel, call or message us as early as you can. How advances are treated is in the refund policy.

• Prices are in Indian rupees. GST is added as the law requires and shown on your invoice.
• We take UPI, card and cash at the studio. Every bill comes with a GST invoice.
• Offers and loyalty discounts apply as stated at the time, one offer per bill unless we say otherwise, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• A seat is held once you enrol and pay the first instalment (or the full fee). Instalments are due on the dates in your fee plan.
• Batch dates, timings and trainers may change for reasons beyond our control; we tell students in advance and offer another batch where we can.
• A certificate of completion is given on finishing the course, with the fee paid in full and the course’s attendance and practical work completed.
• Products and kits given with a course are yours once handed over. Students are expected to respect classmates, models and the studio’s equipment.
• Offers for the first students of a batch apply as described when you enrol.

We are a women-only studio. We may refuse or end a service for anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or disrespectful to our team or other clients.

We take reasonable care in every service and use professional products. We are not responsible for reactions to products you did not tell us you are sensitive to, or for results affected by not following the aftercare we give. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking to us, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. A booking or enrolment already made follows the terms that applied when it was made.
